Deborah Sheehy is a highly qualified therapist with over 20 years of experience in mental health. She holds a First-Class Honours Degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy and has specialised training in Couples Counselling, including the Gottman Method.

She is a fully accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). Her approach is integrative, combining person-centred, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based techniques to provide tailored support for each client.

Deborah creates a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space, helping individuals explore challenges and work towards meaningful change.

In addition to her therapeutic work, Deborah has extensive corporate experience. She has worked as an Assistant Vice President of Human Resources in Dublin’s IFSC and as Office & Personnel Manager for Ireland’s leading business newspaper. Her business background allows her to support clients facing workplace challenges, stress, and career transitions.

Deborah later moved to Melbourne, where she co-founded a multidisciplinary health practice, Inner Health Solutions, with her Australian partner. In 2024, she returned to Dublin, where she now works with clients nationally and internationally.

Irish Mythology and Feminine Archetypes

Deborah has a deep interest in Irish mythology, particularly the forgotten feminine archetypes of Ireland’s past. She is currently completing her debut book called The Untold Stories of Ireland’s Goddesses that explores these lost histories and their relevance for today. Deborah has a special interest in Women’s Health, offering expert support in Dublin and worldwide for conditions such as endometriosis, chronic pain, infertility, pregnancy, miscarriage, and menopause.
